Friday features a parade followed by the ever-popular Corning Does it Bedder Bed Races on Solano Street. On Saturday, the event moves to Woodson City Park where some 70 vendors set up their wares and offer food, arts and crafts and many handmade creations. Two cook-offs featuring olives are held. One of them is the Dutch Oven Cook-Off and the awards for both are worth the effort. There is a local talent show for all ages, as well as activities for children with games and prizes, a petting zoo and the jump tents. Other activities include lawn mower races, youth dance and talent show.
