New players included Phil Bratton, Hoot Gibson, Shirley Mathews, Gene-O Bisceglia, Robert Dickson, Jaime Taylor, and Brady Taylor Crad- duck. Jerry & Linda Taylor's daughter, Jaime and grandson, Brady came all the way from Ontario, OR to play in the tournament (or could it have been coincidental to the Green Bay Packers game in Phoe- nix. Jerry Taylor and Brady played an exhibition match. For the tournament, we had a first place tie between the teams of Rob- ert Dickson & George Lische and Gary McGowan & Jaime Taylor with scores of 39. There was also a tie for 2nd place between the teams of Bill Toner & Cletus Winkler and Harvey Gibson & Shirley Mathews who fired scores of 40. The team of Dean Harrington and Pete Lilly shot a 41 while the team of Con Smith and Mac McLean had a 42. Special awards for closest to the pin on #8 went to Gary McGowan, closest to the pin on #9 was Jaime Taylor. Women's long drive on #13 was won by Linda Taylor, men's 75 and older long drive on #13 went to Harvey Gibson, and Tom Chopski took the men's long drive to outdis- tance Chester Henry who had won the honors the past 3 times.
