Call for Details! FAMILIES WELCOME! Call for Details! 88 Shades Christmas Decorating winners 88 Shades RV Park in Quartzsite held a Christmas decorating contest this year for its residents. This con- test will be expanded to include all of Quartzsite next year. 1st place is being awarded to Ray Ray Koontz of site A5. Ray Ray is from Lima, Montana and has been a seasonal resident at 88 Shades for more than 10 years. Both of his daughters now also reside in the park. For many years, Ray Ray was very active in the weekly karaoke and other activities. He is well known in the park for his interesting collector cars and mechanical abilities. 2nd place was awarded to Dee Wat- son in site #37, a seasonal resident from Minnesota for over 10 years. Dee is very active in the Rec Hall Committee and activity planning in the park and is often seen out walk- ing her two little dogs. 3rd place will be awarded to Russell and Linda Carter in site #32. They are relatively new to 88 Shades, but already are very active in planning activities and leading the weekly shuf- fleboard, horseshoe, and other tour- naments at 88 Shades RV Park. 88 Shades RV Park, 575 W Main St., is open year-round and prides itself on having a friendly and accepting community of residents and seasonal visitors, daily activities between Oc- tober and April, and a large list of amenities for their competitive rates. New Christie Minstrels jumped aboard the Quartzsite Improvement Assoc. Camel Float after the annual Hi Jolly Daze Parade planned for Jan. 9th was cancelled at the last minute. They all had fun driving all around town.
