It is where we worked and where we became men. It is a support system that provided a lifetime of friendships, contacts, social opportunities, and simply fond memories. We all gained from our time in the chapter and many of us can say it helped form who we are today. It is now time to pay it forward. FUNDING THE VISION It is our honor and privilege to announce to you the next step in our pledge to excellence at Gamma eta. Over the past year, a capital campaign committee, our House Corporation board, and undergraduates have committed to the chapter, dedicating time and financial resources to ensure our future success. Now we also need the support of our alumni as we proudly announce A Legendary Past, Ensuring our Future: Celebrating 90 Years at Mississippi State campaign. We are pleased to share that more than 55% of the campaign goal has already been reached! We still have a long way to go, but with your help we can get there. We now seek additional support from loyal brothers, such as you, to reach our $1.5 million goal. LOOKING TO THE FUTURE We have maintained our cherished chapter house by replacing furniture and fixtures when necessary through the undergraduate house bills and regular financial contributions from our alumni. However, it has been 20 years since our last major renovation. As competition increases from new or newly renovated on- campus residence halls, off-campus apartments, and other fraternities—including Kappa Sigma, Lambda Chi Alpha, and Phi Gamma Delta— we must commit to providing a competitive and safe facility that will meet the needs of our undergraduate brothers. It is nearly impossible for 18 year olds not to be influenced by what other fraternities on campus have done with their GAMMA THETA ANNOUNCES $1.5 MILLION CAMPAIGN $857,340 Already Committed from Loyal Brothers Celebrating Ninety Years houses. It is time to make a major investment in our facility so it remains commensurate with our chapter history and reputation. DUE DILIGENCE Each of us, simply by our presence, has contributed to the history of Gamma eta and now is the time to ensure we continue building on that tradition of excellence. In the coming weeks, you will receive additional information detailing our plans for the chapter house renovation and the ways in which you may help. Our planned renovation will provide a quality living environment that ensures the fraternity house is appealing and establishes our lead on campus. We need support from all of our brothers to stay competitive and hope you will join our growing list of loyal supporters who wish to ensure the lasting impact of the Pi Kappa Alpha experience on the lives of young men attending Mississippi State University. STRENGTHENING GAMMA THETA e brothers who came before us provided the tradition that each of us helped build upon. is is the time in our lives to repay what Pike provided us. ose of us who enjoyed the brotherhood, camaraderie, and support of our fraternity will forever owe a debt of gratitude for that unique experience. To attain a top-tier status and attract the finest young men as Pikes, we must undertake the planned renovation of our house. Now is the time to join us and provide the same wonderful experience to the next generation. Fraternally, Turner A.
