The month of January continues to be busy for students and teachers with basket- ball games, fundraisers, and the start of a new semester. An example of a student handling this stress ex- cellently is the December Student of the Month, Rhiyanna Timber- lake! Congratulations, Rhiyanna! Last month was a busy month for basketball players. On December 11th and 12th, varsity boys and girls played in the Wickenburg Cage Classic Tournament. The var- sity girls won against Joy Christian. Varsity boys tried hard, but did not get a win. On January 6th, varsity boys play at Telesis Prep at 7:00. All teams will be having a very eventful month. Other news for this month includes a fundraiser! The Sophomore Class will be doing a soup dinner on Janu- ary 7th. The dinner will be held from 5-7 o'clock at Salome High School.
