This year 50,000 Guides were printed, which is 30,00 more than in previous years. 10,000 copies have already been distributed since mid-August; at the League of Arizona Cities & Towns Annual Conference, Arizona Off-Road Expo, and in many local cham- bers. The Visitor Guide is also available to view online at www.QuartzsiteVisi- torGuide.com. To arrange for pick up, call Janet at Town Hall 928-927-4333. Town Hall is located at 465 N. We'll teach you how. Every Monday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at the Quartzsite Senior Center (40 Moon Mountain Road). Bring large print cards, shuffl ers, and card holders if you have them, plus pen and pa- per for notes. FREE! Everyone wel- come! (Starts in November.) Canasta games Quilting is in full swing in Quartzsite. The fi rst business of the Quartzsite Quilters was full of plans for the coming year. Quilt show is Febru- ary 5th and 6th 2016. As always anyone can enter a quilt, wall hang- ing, etc. Our opportunity quilt is ready for ticket sales. You can see it at the QIA craft shows or stop by the Senior Center on Tuesday and get your tickets. It has Southwest colors this year and will make a beautiful addition to any home. Donations were made last year to the Senior Center,. the Quartzsite School, the food bank and the Li- brary. These were made possible by the community's support of our show and raffl e quilt as well as the hard work of all our members.. An emergency donation to the food bank for supplies for infants was made this week. We meet every Tues 9:00 to 2:00 at the Senior Center. Dues are very reasonable and if quilting is your thing you would enjoy our friendly group and be welcome to join us TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) Weigh In from 6:30AM to 7:45AM on Tuesday mornings. TOPS group meets Quartzsite Desert Singles meet at the QIA every Friday at 10am for a short meeting. Then we go to different in- teresting places and have a cook-out. Join us and meet new friends. Desert Singles meet Quartzsite Historical Society an- nounces a new meeting place for their monthly meetings. The group will be meeting the fi rst Wednes- day of the month at 2:00pm in the dining room at Isaiah 58 Project, at 100 Moon Mt. Ave. Quartzsite Quartzsite Roadrunner Gem and Mineral Club (QRGMC) will host their popular MUSIC BONANZA featuring Skyhawk & Little Sis- ters on December 29th at the QIA. Doors open at 6:30 pm. $3 suggest- ed donation. ALL Proceeds go to the QRGMC Scholarship Fund. Come enjoy our Bonanza with friends and Family and help support our local students.
