A number of our golfers started out the cool morning in jackets, only to
shed them as the sun warmed them up rather quickly. Due to the cooler
morning temperatures, the starting time for Rainbow Acres tourna-
ments, until further notice, will be 10:00. As usual, the format was a

presentation in Quartzsite on Thursday,
December 17th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Quartzsite
Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism
office located 1240 W. Main Street. Elaine will
discuss services available through BBB, includ-
ing business reviews, ratings, customer re-
views, complaint history and more. She will
also discuss active scams in our area and
share some of the "red flags" to help consum-
ers better recognize scammers whether it be
by phone, email or regular mail.
