Lambda Chi Alpha - University of Illinois - Champaign, Illinois • Fall 2015 Chi Zetagram A s the holidays near, it is wonderful to reflect on how many lives Chi Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha has affected over the years. Many men have passed through the front doors at 209 East Armory and have gone on to do great things for their families and communities. As undergraduate members, we learned the values of respect, friendship, leadership, and what it means to be part of a Lifetime of True Brotherhood. e chapter house was a place we all came together to utilize and further expand on those traits and skills. During this holiday season, I am so truly thankful for the 172 alumni who have helped us raise more than $1.8 million toward our $2.15 million goal. Because of these alumni, we are making needed progress toward the exciting construction, set to begin in May 2016. Our undergraduate brothers will move out of 209 East Armory aer the school year is completed, and then the building committee will work together to preserve artifacts from our chapter house to carry forward into our new house, and then the demolition and construction will begin. But we're going to need the support of even more alumni to help make our summer 2016 goals a reality. To date, we have $348,058 le to raise to meet our $2.15 million fundraising goal. e total project cost is more than $6.5 million, so it is imperative that we meet—and hopefully exceed—our $2.15 million fundraising goal.
