KBUX 94.3 FM 928-927-5111 http://kbuxradio.com Submitted by Linda Taylor We had a great turnout for our first Friday morning tournament of the season. The weather inspired some great golf from our teams. We have prepped most of the course after the long summer and there were some excellent scores fired during the competition. Low score of the day was turned in by Lee Raye Christner and Gary Mc- Gowan with a 19-under round of 37. Second place went to George Lische and Jerry Taylor who fired 38. Dino Linden and Bud Key along with the team of Bill Toner and Joe McWIlliams tied for 3rd place with 41's. Pete Lilly and Gene Howard finished 5th with a 42. Let's just say everyone else had a good time too! Lee Raye was closest to the pin on hole #9 and won the long drive contest for the day. In the men's division, Bud Key hit closest to the pin on #8 and the long drive for the day went to Brad Romaine. Our next scramble tournament will be Friday, Nov. 20 beginning at 9:00 sharp. Hope to see you there! A reminder that every Saturday there is also a scramble tourna- ment on the Quartzsite Town Course at 9:00am. Questions? Call Jerry at 208-405-3311.
