Lovelace, 90, of Shelby, NC went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 9, 2012. Services were held at Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Lovelace served our country in the US Army dur- ing WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents, Landrum Lovelace and Lillian McSwain Lovelace; his brother Rafe Lovelace and sister Anna Ray Brooks. Services were held at Faith Baptist Church. Burial was held at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Borders was a proud Marine who served two tours in Vietnam.
