The program, which will con- clude with a ribbon cutting, will begin at 1 p.m. Tours of the telehealth facility and on site clinic registration will begin at 2 p.m. and continue until 6 p.m. The clinic is located at 1273 West Hobson Way. Local businesses and organiza- tions that offer special services to Veterans will be present for a re- source fair during the open house. 425 N. Patients who visit the telehealth facility are able to see a doctor via real-time clinic based video conferences. This technol- ogy, in which VA prides itself in being a world leader, saves pa- tients the hassle of a one hundred or more mile drive to the medical center in Loma Linda. The scores as usual we close, and in the end the team of Jerry Taylor and Brad Romaine captured 1st place with a 39. In the playoff for 2 and 3 places tied with 40's, was Bud Key and Jim Mercer who defeated Jim Austin and George Lische. The team of Kit Wilkins and Bill Toner fi red a 41 for 4th place. Shooting 42 were 3 teams with Con Smith and Harvey Gibson winning the playoff for 5th place over Larry Jensen and Carol Mercer along with Robert Dixon and Robert Barnard. In the women's competition, the winner of the long drive contest was Carol Mercer while Darlene Aitken won the closest to the pin award. In men's competition, the winner of the long drive contest was Jerry Taylor and Brad Romaine was closest to the pin. While this concludes the tournaments to be held at Rainbow Acres course this season, remember the downtown courses will continue to host a tourna- ment each Saturday at 9:00 with a $3 entry fee. A big thank you to all those who supported our tournaments at Rainbow Acres. With the Good Lord will- ing, we hope to see you all next October.
