Henry David Thoreau By QES PTA The Quartzsite Elementary School PTA has started a Pee Wee Basketball program for children in grades 1st through 4th. Through donations we were able to purchase the appro- priate sized hoops, and balls, as well as jerseys for the kids. We would like to thank the VFW, Tyson Wells, Liquidator Depot and Cushman Construction for making this fi rst ever season of Pee Wee Basketball possible. If you have some free time you should stop by and catch the kids in action. They work very hard and it is by far one of the most enjoyable things to see. We have 4 teams made up of 1st and 2nd Graders and 3 teams made up of 3rd and 4th Graders.
