Box 762 Oklahoma City, OK 73101 Address Service Requested Sooner Delt The Chapter Eternal Jack H. Davison '50 entered Chapter Eternal on February 19. He was a resident of Rio Rancho, N.M. Robert O. Bennett '50 entered Chapter Eternal on April 1 at age 90 after battling heart failure. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, who resides at Epworth Villa in Oklahoma City, Okla. Alumni News John Brock '53 earned a spot on the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, the Tulsa Hall of Fame, and the OU-ROTC Wall of Fame, after graduating from OU in 1953. Diller '63 is the author of Firefly: A Skyraider's Story about America's Secret War over Laos, published in 2013, which is the only book about the night operations over Laos. Richard resides in Belvidere, Ill. E-mail: dick@ thedillers.net Doyle D. Newsom '66 retired in 2014 and celebrated the publishing of his first book of poetry, Baby Shoes Blues, last year. Slaughter Ph.D. '67 and his wife, Ann, sold their small ranch in north Fort Worth, Texas, and are moving to Eagle Mountain Lake. James and Ann share a counseling and coaching practice nearby, and are encouraging their two daughters through their senior year in college and into new careers. "Life is challenging and fun. Fred Gist '73 graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1976 and has practiced law in Oklahoma City since 1977, specializing in oil and gas law. He enjoys working with the young men of Delta Alpha and encourages Delt brothers to get involved as mentors and supporters. "We have an excellent chapter with a lot of great guys," Fred boasts.
