Vol. 64 No. 7 The Buckeye Phi Psi Phi Kappa Psi s The Ohio State University s Fall 2015 OHIO DELTA INSIDE: The History of 124 4th Ave E ~ 2 • Alumnus Spotlight ~ 3 • From Here and There~ 4 • Strong Brotherhood ~ 5 new school year at our beloved alma mater has commenced. The Chapter is progressing through what I believe will be a banner year for Phi Kappa Psi. Our young men continue to demonstrate admirably the correct balance of school and Fraternity life. However, we continue to work with them to further enhance their goals toward excellence. To be quite frank, we are extremely fortunate. Our undergraduate membership continues to grow with quality young men, and our alumni base remains dedicated to the betterment of Phi Kappa Psi, both nationally and especially locally. We have innumerable reasons to be thankful. Phi Psi has a special meaning in all of our hearts. Whether it was a defining period in your life as you moved from childhood to manhood, or perhaps it channeled your creative spirit to be a famous author or artist. Maybe Phi Psi carved you into a leader who now runs a successful business. Possibly, your experiences at the Chapter House directed your steps to becoming a physician, and just maybe you might cure a devastating disease. Wherever your journey has taken you, we can all agree that Phi Psi has left an everlasting imprint on us all. I truly believe we were all put on this third rock from the sun for a reason. Maybe it is to give of our time and talents, or contribute a fortune to charity. Woody is right! Regardless, of what our purpose may be, we should all pay it forward. We are always in need of volunteers. If the greater Columbus area is not your home, there are other ways to give back. The board of the Ohio Delta Company is extremely thankful for the dedication all of you have given our Chapter. It is our hope to leave it a little bit better than when we found it. Acta non verba. Ohio Delta Mentoring Program Alumni Volunteers Needed y name is Robbie Mulloy, and I am a graduate of Kentucky Beta (University of Kentucky). I am on a mission to re-start the mentoring program for Ohio Delta. Since I moved to the Columbus area more than a year ago, I have become involved with the Alumni Association, and I have been told great things about the previous mentoring program and how there was a lot of alumni involvement. I am hoping to recreate that and more. I am looking for alumni who would like to be a part of this and help re-establish the program. The Chapter has a diverse group of brothers with different majors and interests whom I know would love to hear about how to impress future employers and what they need to do to succeed after college. If you would like to be a part of this great opportunity for the Chapter, please contact me. Amici, Robbie Mulloy (502) 303-5685 robbie.mulloy@gmail.com M
