vibrant and fresh.
I don't need to wear eyeliner or
mascara, thereby cutting my makeup
time by half. I adore lash extensions
and think they are well worth the time
and money for a special event or
even when I want a beauty boost!
There are some downsides.
It takes a long time and it's not easy
to stay still. Plan for about 2 to 3 hours
for your first procedure. Tish said
"fills," when you have new lashes
put on, take about an hour to 90
minutes depending on the
client's lashes.
It's pricey but I can see why. My
lashes cost $175, plus tip. Lash
extensions last about three weeks.
Fills start at $85.
Tish's tips for eyelashes
and lash extensions:
– Do not use an eyelash curler. Even
if you're not planning on getting
extensions, curlers can break your
lashes as they did mine. Tish found
lots of damaged and broken lashes
from my curling habit. If you want a
curl in your lash, go to a professional.
– Don't rub your eyes.
– Don't wear mascara or use makeup
remover with oil in it with your lash
extensions.
– Try not to sleep on your face.
– Don't wash your eye area for 24
hours after getting lash extensions.
Wash your face, gently, after that.
With so many options available to
up your eye game, who wouldn't
want to add drama and glamour to
your most expressive feature! ■
