The new office will open for business the first week in November at 1240 W. Main Street, across from McDonald's. The Grand Opening will be Wed. December 9th. Watch for more details coming soon. Membership in the Chamber is based on a 6-tiered membership structure that allows prospective members to choose the benefits and level of investment they desire. "Your Chamber of Commerce wants to represent the interests of all busi- nesses in Quartzsite and can ac- commodate a range of budgets. We developed our tier structure after researching other Chambers and business associations. The more meaningful your membership, the more initiatives and programs we can use to advance commerce and tourism. We also provide more ser- vices and privileges based upon the New Chamber & Tourism accepting members level of the tier that can promote your business and better inform the community," said Phil Cushman, QQCC& T President. • Monthly Networking Mixers will be held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month in the evening. Be sure to bring your business cards so we can all get to know each other. • General Membership Meetings will be held the 4th Thursday of the month. The next Breakfast meeting will be on Thursday Oct. 22nd at 7:00am - Stage Coach Restaurant. • The November Mixer will hosted be Hardies Beads & Jewelry at Ty- son Wells Building located at 100 W. QuartzsiteTourism.com Quartzsite- Halloween falls on a Saturday this year and there's two events taking place; Quartzsite Elementary School (QES) hosts a Fall Carnival & Dinner on Friday. On Saturday, the Town sponsored Halloween Party takes place at Community Center. On Friday, Oct 30th QES Student Council Will be hosting a Fall Carnival from 3:00pm - 4:30pm. The entry fee to the Carnival is only $1.00. There will be games and trick or treating. Following the Carnival, the 8th grade class will be hosting a Carne Asada Dinner from 5:00pm - 6:00pm. The cost is $5/plate for adults and $3/plate children under 12. There is also a Bake Sale planned. On Saturday, Oct. 31st The Hal- loween Party starts at the Commu- nity Center, where there will be free carnival games including panning for gold! In addition, there will be free hot dogs for the kids, costume contest with lots of categories, a parade, prizes and lots more. Businesses, Organizations, RV Parks and Groups are encouraged to participate Trick-or-Treating along the Haunted Walking Path along E. Quail Trail, from Commu- nity Center to Town Hall. You can set up a "station" (Table, Tradition- al Trunk or Treat, Booth, Themed Spooky Scene, etc.) or a traditional Truck-or-Treat in the parking lot. Prizes will be awarded this year, so get your friends together and get creative! If you'd like to volunteer, please attend the next meeting on Monday, Oct. 26th at 5:00pm at the Community Center.
