Gray '48 entered Chapter Eternal on May 1. After a successful career with Carrier Corp. and Air Comfort Corp., Jay and his wife ran Blair House Gifts and Accessories for eight years with their dog, Abbie. Jay is survived and dearly missed by his wife of 56 years, Shirley; his sister, Dana; and his two nieces. George W. Pape '49 entered Chapter Eternal on August 14. George was instrumental in the founding of the Alpha Sigma Chaper. He had a long and rewarding career in education as a coach, educator, and administrator. George was active in several civic groups, was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan, and participated in many community service activities. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; their children, Georgia, Clay, and Scott; and grandchildren, Annalee and Sally. Russell Dean Carll '59, a native of Chicago, Ill., and a resident of New Orleans for more than 50 years, entered Chapter Eternal on September 25. Russ was devoted to his family and especial- ly thrilled by his "perfect grandchildren." Russ enjoyed traveling, fishing, playing golf, and owning a guest house. Nathan Tutko '04 entered Chapter Eternal on February 15 due to an automobile accident. He worked for State Farm Insurance in the Bloomington, Ill., area and played the drums during his free time. He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Janet, his three sisters, and one brother, all of whom miss him dearly. several events. In the past eight months, Alpha Sigma has raised more than $2,500 for the Peoria MS Society. This semester, we plan to continue this momentum by hosting events in November as a part of our "TXGiving" philanthropy week. We look forward to the latter half of our successful fall semester. We encourage alumni to visit the chapter house if you are ever in town. We appreciate your support and look forward to connecting with you.
