October 17th 4th Annual "Friends of the Parks" Golf Tournament The Friends of the Parks will hold their 3rd Annual Benefi t Golf Tourna- ment at Royster Memorial Golf Course on Saturday, October 17th. Shot- gun Start at 8:15AM. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Teams. The format is Captain's Choice. Entry Fee is $40 with including lunch. All Sponsors and players receive lunch. October 25th Greater Cleveland County Baptist Association's "Greatest Treat Festival" Fun, Food, Candy and Games highlight this event from 3PM til 6PM on Sunday, October 25th. Also the "Greatest Treat" will be shared with all who attend. There is no admission to this event held at the Shelby City Park. December 5th Santa At The Carrousel Pictures with Santa at the Carrousel has been scheduled for Saturday, December 5th from 9:00AM til 12PM. December 5th Carrousel Christmas and Shelby City Park Tree Lighting. Come set on Santa's lap and tell him what you want for Christmas. Refreshments will be available with the Party beginning at 2:00PM. The Christmas Tree and all the other lights at the Shelby City Park will be turned on at 5:00PM for the Holiday Season. The admission will be a non-perishable food item. December 20th Agape Ministries Christmas for the Homeless Agape Ministries will be providing a Christmas meal and gifts for the Homeless Children in Cleveland County at the City Park Gym.
