Linda Lovelace, Tax Collector/Assessor El Camino Irrigation District Published: October 9, 16, 23, 2015 LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tehama County Board of Su- pervisors will hold a public hear- ing on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., or as soon there- after as may be heard, in Board Chambers, 727 Oak Street, Red Bluff, California, on the following matters: REZONE #15-02 POULTRY FARMS . Consider approval of an ordi- nance to amend Title 17 of the Tehama County relating to poul- try farms in agricultural zoning districts. This ordinance seeks to balance Tehama County's strong agricultural heritage and right to farm with the growing impacts of large scale poultry operations in Tehama County. To continue to promote the val- ues of the community, any poul- try operation or use which would otherwise be regulated by this Ordinance, that was le- gally established prior to Janu- ary 7, 2015, shall be able to con- tinue such preexisting opera- tions or use without the require- ment of a permit and without vi- olation of this ordinance; unless after the enactment of this ordi- nance such operation or use is expanded in any manner which would require a permit or other- wise violate this ordinance. REZONE #15-06, Travel Trailer and Recreational Vehicle Occu- pancy Ordinance . The Board of Supervisors will consider the adoption of Rezone #15-06, an Ordinance regulating the occu- pancy of recreational vehicles and travel trailers as temporary residences within certain zones in the unincorporated areas of the County. The purpose and in- tent of the requested ordinance is to establish procedures and standards applicable to the de- velopment and placement of Travel Trailers and Recreational Vehicles as temporary residen- ces in certain zoning districts in order to promote orderly land use planning that will reduce the potential of these structures locating in an incompatible area that will degrade the environ- ment and lead to land use con- flicts. The project meets the re- quirements for exemption pur- suant to CEQA Guidelines 15308. Planning Commission voted 4:0 to recommend that the Board of Supervisors approve Rezone# 15-06. All interested persons are invit- ed to attend and be heard. Please be advised that if you challenge the above-entitled matter in court, you may be lim- ited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written corre- spondence delivered at or prior to the public hearing to the Tehama County Clerk of the Board of Supervisors Office, Room 12, County Courthouse, P.O.
