This event is large. Staged on the 100 acre Desert Gardens Showgrounds, the weekend music spectacular involves many components encompassing stage production, site produc- tion, security, construction, vending, market- ing and booking some of the biggest names in Latino Rock. It is intended as an annual event providing global promotion for Quartzsite, tax revenue, revenue for contractors and local businesses and providing hope to this small town with the same financial concerns as any American small town. Festival producer Hal Davidson enthused, "This Latino rock festival is truly the first of its kind in the U.S. Only Ruidofest in Chicago and Supersonica in LA have staged similar events catered to the underserved Latino audience. We are looking forward to continuing this two- day/two-night camping event annually in the welcoming community of Quartzsite, Arizona." This festival is about the music with one big stage and huge production for best quality sound and LED. For the first time in America, all of these bands will perform over two days. An early entry day, Thursday March 17, gives festival-goers the best campsites and is includ- ed in the weekend ticket. The Main stage is live from noon to midnight Friday and Saturday, March 18 and 19. Look- ing at Q Mtn. from the stage with its back to I-10, the stage speakers will be faced toward the right side of Q Mtn and are located far enough away, so that the residents located near or on S Kofa Rd or Q Mtn Rd do not receive more than 60 decibels at any one time. A star DJ lineup will also perform all day and into the night, Thurs., March 17, 2016 in Hector & Pe- dro's Saloon and in the Late Nite Dance Tent, both located inside the concert area, which is about 7 acres. The Main Stage Lineup: CAIFANES, MALDITA VECINDAD, EL TRI, MO- LOTOV, PXNDX (pronounced PANDA), PANTEON ROCOCO, KINKY (2 NITES), OZOMATLI, LOS AMIGO INVISIBLES, DIVISION MINUSCULA, NORTEC COL- LECTIVE: BOSTICH & FUSSIBLE, SILVERIO, FINDE, SIDDHARTHA, MEXICAN DUBWISER, PALENKE SOULTRIBE, S7N, and METALACHI. Never before has such a collection of Latin Rock Artists ever been assembled in America! Rock Fiesta is the next jewel in Quartzsite's tourism crown. For one low-price ticket, just $99 for the weekend, camping optional $40, RV hook- ups are additional, and a limited number of $350 VIP weekend passes, Rock Fiesta will be the Latin gathering place for Spring Break in the sun!
