2 I 'm both motivated and excited to see where the Gamma Theta Chapter is heading in the coming years. We strive to strengthen our brotherhood while improving our academics, community involvement, and recruitment process. Going into my second semester as chapter president has given me the ability to lead with a confident hand as I feel I am hitting my stride as a leader in the chapter. It is truly an honor to be leading the Gamma Theta Chapter at such an exciting point in our history as a fraternity. The active brothers are hard at work keeping our values alive in the fraternity today. Alumni, thank you all for setting the foundation for our chapter. We are dedicated to building on our past success and looking toward our future progress. The fall semester began with a very successful recruitment. Gamma Theta offered bids to 38 men. A word that has resonated with me regarding this new pledge class is quality. A noticeable quality of character, work ethic, passion, and desire to be a Pike is apparent with these gentlemen. They truly live up to our values of SLAG—they are scholars, leaders, athletes, and gentlemen. This upcoming semester will be packed full of academics, social events, community involvement, and philanthropy. Our chapter is looking forward to another great year of work and fun as we continue along our path as a headstrong presence at Mississippi State University. Alumni are more than welcome to come visit us any time at the Pike house. We invite you to The active members at the third annual Southern Soiree, benefitting the Mississippi Palmer Home for Children.
