After all the votes were cast for People's Choice, 1st place went to "After the Rain" painted by Nancy Burrows, sponsored by Hardies Beads & Jewelry, with a win- ning auction bid of $430! 2nd place was "Halsey Williams Mill" by Mark Goldberg, sponsored by Horizon Community Bank. 3rd place was "Camel Rock" by George Wonenberg, sponsored by Tyson Wells Showgrounds. Funds raised support local organizations and promote Quartz- site and surrounding areas as fun destinations. The children of Quartzsite Elementary School painted two rocks: "Hi Jolly Monument" by Juan Tinoco, and "Native Indian" by Jasmine Tinoco and Elysia Rudisill.
