Mary refers to herself as "just an Iowa farm girl who loves nature and art". Now living in Washington State and winter in Hope Arizona. Mary's medium of choice is oil on canvas. "The easy flow of oil give me more control of my brush and life to my animals" she says. Husband Bill used to be a hunter, now hunting with his camera providing photos for Mary's paintings. Mary is a juried member of the Wick- enburg Art Club, member of the Des- ert Brush Art Club, Quartzsite Art Guild, Desert Daubers of Hope and a Volunteer Artist for the Heartist for Charity. She has shown her work at Gold Rush Days, Friends of Music, Western Washington Fair, Arts Alive in Washington as well as Hope, Bouse, and Quartzsite. Mary is one of the Artists selected for the Mountain Quail Art Gallery Show- ing held in Quartzsite February 25th 2012.
