1055 Military Cutoff Road Oliver Wilmington, NC 28405 www.oliverclothing.com 910.256.2233 A Place to Shop Taking a drive down Eastwood Road to Wrightsville Beach can be a hectic ex- perience in the summer, so why not take a leſt on Military Cutoff and do some shopping while you wait for the bridge to go down? There are numerous shops located in both The Forum and Mayfaire Shopping Centers, and a fashion forward favorite for clothes and accessories is Oli- ver, set in a small corner across from the giant chain stores. Oliver offers high end trend items and luxury labels that are not easily found in the town's other stores, in- cluding a line of unique denim and cool swimming attire. Also impressive are the refined jewelry and selection of belts and bags. The staff are always friendly and courteous and will help you get outfitted for summer. A Place to Supper Phew, all of that around running town was exhaust- ing, now its time to sit down and en- joy something tasty. Wilmington has a great selection of restaurants which specialize in cuisine from the Far East, particu- larly from Vietnam and Thailand. Proud own- ers of adventurous pal- ates will definitely enjoy a trip to Indochine in midtown, but come early or late, or you may have to wait for a while for a table. While Indochine is crowded most nights, it does offer one of the more unique dining experiences, due to its luscious decor of authen- tic pots, statutes, beautiful artwork plants and water features. Warmer weather brings outdoor dining in the restaurant's backyard gardens, featuring individual tiki huts and a Market Street at Forest Hills Wilmington, N.C. 28403 www.indochinewilmington.com 910.251.9229 7 Wayne Drive Indochine cabana bar. There are also special- ized rooms for larger parties and a front lounge and, of course, the main dining room. Ginger, lemongrass and basil are just a few of the delicious flavors used by the kitchen staff. The crunchy Bird's Nest Noodles, a flavorful concoction of crispy wonton rice and veggies, are not to be missed. Try them with or without meat and plan to take home leſtovers — the portions are massive! CV 40 | March/April • 2012
