Visitors enjoy its grassy areas, benches, picnic tables, and creek access while observing the local bird life and water creatures. ere is a shaded picnic area near the amphitheater bowl. Creek Park hosts many local major events including Film Night, Music in the Park, and Creekside "Q" (see page 12 & 13 for dates). Explore the San Anselmo hills and wooded areas, as well as a meadow with a panoramic view of the Ross Valley. IMAGINATION PARK 535 San Anselmo Ave., 415-454-2510 www.sananselmopark.org A privately owned park and gathering center in San Anselmo, featuring life-size bronze statues of Yoda & Indiana Jones created by famed George W. Lucas and sculpted by Lawrence Noble. LANSDALE PARK Corner of Center Blvd. and Landsdale, 415-258-4640 www.townofsananselmo.org/index.aspx?nid=106 is pocket-sized park has a newly renovated children's playground and small picnic area. e site of an old train station, Lansdale Station was once a stop on the way to West Marin. You can still see the wide sidewalks on either side of Center Boulevard that were formerly train- loading platforms. MEMORIAL PARK AND THE MILLENNIUM PLAYGROUND From Sir Francis Drake Blvd., turn east on San Francisco Blvd., then right on Veterans Place, to access the parking lot, 415-258-4640 www.townofsananselmo.org/index.aspx?nid=106 San Anselmo's largest and busiest park features the famous Millennium Playground with animal fountains, a large climbable castle and a dinosaur, baseball diamonds, four tennis courts, Elder's garden, a soccer field, an outdoor basketball court, and picnic and BBQ areas.
