W
hat could bring together a builder, an optometrist, a
horticulturalist and an undertaker" Maybe a planning meeting
to build an eye clinic, greenhouse or funeral home" In reality,
a young person from each of these professions is doing some
active networking through Fayetteville's newest professional
organization, the Fayetteville Young Professionals.
It might be surprising to some that people of such divergent professions could find
much in common. But The Fayetteville Young Professionals, even with their youth in
common, is all about diversity, racially and otherwise. With members between the
ages of 21 and 40 – including soldiers, defense contractors, lawyers, bankers, teachers,
entrepreneurs, business owners, Realtors, architects, government employees and you
name it –
the young professionals group is catering to locals
from many different fields, who share the common interest
of developing professionally and personally, even as they
help build a better community.
