W
hen the doors open in the evening, customers
quickly gather at the oyster bar and start
up a good-natured banter with each other
and the shuckers. Soon, almost every seat
in the restaurant is full and the aroma of perfectly fried
hushpuppies fills the air. Step inside, close your eyes and
for a second you could swear you are somewhere on the
Carolina coast, but you are right here in Fayetteville at 316
Oyster Bar, (at 316 Owen Drive.) "We want to make you
feel like you're on vacation even if you just got off work
an hour ago," says Wayne Horne, general manager of the
restaurant.
