According to Forbes, Latino-owned businesses are expected to increase their total revenue contribution to the economy by 8% annually over the 10 years from 2005 to 2015. This is more than three times the average growth for all businesses. Financial experts say that these are well-defi ned signs to a slow recovery for the economy in 2012. Recovery might be slow, but it was enough to help Wall Street start 2012 with great excitement and cautious optimism for the New Year; the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose nearly 180 points on the fi rst day of 2012.
