It continues Sunday, Jan. 22. The show will feature lo- cally handmade wooden toys, jewelry, handbags, scarves, gloves, photography, knitted items and more. Winter Festival 10 a.m. $3 Delaware County Fairgrounds, Walton www.delawarecounty.org This one-day festival will feature an ice-carving compe- tition with six teams of carvers from Ohio and the SUNY Delhi group. The contest is an American Culinary Federa- tion-sanctioned event. Events will include snowmobile drag racers from the Hamden Hill Ridge Riders, wood carving, sleigh rides, igloo building, food and children's activities. Fri. 2/10 Cooperstown Winter Carnival 6:30 p.m. Downtown Cooperstown cooperstowncarnival.org This event, which contin- ues all day Saturday, Feb. 11, and Sunday, Feb. 12, will offer activities and food throughout the village. The theme for the carnival this year is "Carnivale," and the weekend will bring a dessert lovers festival, "Bayou Blast" Chili Contest, the Fabulous Beekman Boys, dog show, music, fireworks, coloring contest. The tastings will cost a small fee, but many of the event are free. To enter homemade des- serts or in various contests, email the Winter Carnival Committee at cooperstown- wintercarnival@gmail.com. The Night 5 to 8 p.m. $5-12 The Farmers' Museum 5798 State Highway 80, Cooperstown (607) 547-1400 In support of museum pro- gramming in local schools, the venue will host a night of music, food, games and contests.
