Χ Ω 3 CHI OMEGA Alumnae Update CHAPTER OMEGA Diana Cooper Treadway '41 entered Chapter Omega July 15, 2012. Mary Pierce Cochran '51 entered Chapter Omega October 27, 2014. ALUMNAE NEWS Margery Creeger Chatfield '40 lives in Monument, Colo., and has six children. Her husband passed away last October. Joanne Zinsmeister Herlick '40 and her husband, Conrad, were married for 65 years before he passed away in 2008. He was a colonel in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed all over the world, including England for three years and Washington, D.C., three times. Joanne has one daughter, Christina, and lives in San Antonio, Texas. Barbara Lemon Zobel '42 lives in Raleigh, N.C., and has four children: Donald, Kathleen, Julia, and Lois. Nida Markovich Devoto '44 teaches part-time and travels a lot, dividing her time between Mill Valley and Sun Valley, Calif., with frequent trips to Europe. "I stay busy!" E-mail: lpwaste@hotmail.com Adele Weidenkopf Kayser '46 won the Centennial Honoree Award for distinguished service to the Bishop's School in La Jolla, Calif., in 2008. She lives in Mesa, Ariz., and has three children: Robin, Alison, and Wendy. E-mail: adelesok@aol.com Joyce Howell Wells '48 sold her house and lives in a duplex in Belvedere Tiburon on the lagoon. She still enjoys swimming laps, playing duplicate bridge and Mahjong, and gardening. Joyce attended her grandson's graduation from West Point last May and his brother's from high school in June. "I try to travel east twice a year to see the family. Live is still good!" Marilyn Probert Morris '49 lives in Arizona with her third husband, Gene. She has five children: Clifford, Thomas, Nancy, Mary, and Carol, 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and four on the way. Marilyn is active in the Presbyterian church, having served as an elder and deacon. She also does ceramics, plays the piano, and is writing two books (one about her life, the other about her grandfather). E-mail: grandmamorris1@msn.com Natalie Cake Miller '52 has lived in Rocklin, Calif., since 1999. She traveled to Germany and Austria in 2014. Natalie's husband of 57 years, Dan, passed away in 2013. They have two children, four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. "It's a lovely seaside town, except for the long winter!" E-mail: sruyle@gwi.net Suzanne Vinson Royce '54 sold her home in San Francisco and moved to Piedmont where she volunteers for the Women's Board of the Oakland Museum at the White Elephant Sale. "I price and research the Asian items donated." Suzanne is also active in the Society for Asian Art at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. She has two children, Peter and Lisa. She and her husband, William, love the setting, the food, the classes, activities, and being near their daughter, Kathryn '83, and her family. Their other daughter, Karyn, lives in Oakland. Marilyn and William have four grandsons. They still live in the same house in Fremont, Calif. Gig enjoys being retired and is involved in Meals on Wheels, Mothers of Pre-Schoolers, PEO, Bible study, and swimming for exercise. Gig and Rob have two children, Doug and Dana. Sarah Knapp Milne '76 lives in Oakland, Calif., and has two children, Jesse and Katie. Jesse is a senior at Cal this year. He plays rugby and is a Beta. "Go, Bears! It's fun being a Mama Bear!" Stri and her husband, Larry, live in Lafayette, Calif. They have three daughters: Linnea, Ariella, and Anica. Sara Hertel '90 works part-time as a licensed professional engineer, spends time with her three kids who are all in elementary school, manages five rental properties, and travels to Baja, Mexico, with her family once a year for 1-3 months. Sara and her husband, Dana, live in Tahoe City, Calif., and have three children: Emmi, Max, and Anna.
