Handmade, Pure, Unique, Innovative.
Describe your latest collections?
I am loving emeralds, and have been using the
ethically resourced Gemfi elds emeralds. I am also
exploring more minimalist modern geometric shapes
in my Bubbles, Stockholm and Geometrie
Collections. They are fresh, new and modern; circles,
triangles, rectangles. I have not abandoned
my ancient history inspiration, but instead I have
found a way to fuse the two concepts together.
What are your clients seeking these days?
My high end gold pieces.
How do your clients request and needs inspire your
design process?
My best inspiration comes from my customers – what
she would like to see in my work or even how she
might modify it. This guides my innovative spirit.
Where are you fi nding inspiration at the moment?
I spent a dream weekend celebrating our 30th
anniversary with my husband at a very modern Aman
resort in Utah. The amazing minimalist modern, yet
organic décor inspired me with my geometric work.
What do you love most about what you do?
Just everything, but especially when I am sitting in
my turret on the top fl oor of an old dilapidated
Istanbul building – the amazing sunlight and views
of a 14th century building and skyline: I sit there
with my stones and sketch new jewelry...
