In addition, our new member education, scholarship, and recruitment programming has been reshaped to be more effective and beneficial for our chapter. Scholarship Chairman Joseph Rogers '16 reports: "Our GPA for the fall of 2014 was a 2.94, ranking 15th out of 30 other fraternities at ISU. This semester, we gave out daily planners to our brothers to help schedule their time more efficiently, and members who did not make grades have weekly meetings with members of our executive board to keep constant updates on their academic progress." Marshal Zach Stuart '16 reports: "This semester we added new member education programs that aim to build brotherhood and continuity within the pledge class. Theta Chi conversations is a program where pledges are given assignments each week, and the pledge project is an activity the pledges decide to do together." During the fall, we were paired with Delta Tau Delta and Kappa Kappa Gamma for Homecoming and hosted a 5K, which had 50 participants and raised approximately $800 for the USO. We hosted our annual parents and alumni weekend on September 6-7. It is always refreshing to see how many supporters we have. Iowa State hosted the Mid-Year Leadership Conference at the beginning of spring 2015.
