It is a drop-in event and no appointment is necessary. Attendees will be treated to tours of The Birth Place, including labor and delivery suites, post partum rooms, the nursery, and RRHS' fetal monitoring system. Physicians, nurses and support will be on hand to answer questions and provide educational information. Stations will be located throughout The Birth Place that feature experts in lactation and breastfeeding, birthing positions, childbirth classes, couplet care, gestational diabetes, epidurals and anesthesia, pregnancy massage therapy and newborn photography. Raffl es also will be held and light refreshments served. Each person will receive a free gift as they enter The Birth Place.
