W
e are very excited to finally have our
house back to full capacity. We pledged
37 freshmen in the fall and an additional five this
spring. Due to the excitement of the upcoming
renovation, 38 of the 42 freshmen are living in.
After winning True Merit for the third straight
year, we are excited about where the chapter
stands. Part of what binds us as brothers are
the traditions that we share no matter which
years we were living in ATW. We have recently
brought back Snow Patrol and serenaded the
sororities on the first snow of the year.
There is a wide range of involvement in the
community by the chapter, with members
working at the capital, earning their pilot
licenses, volunteering at Bryan Hospital, and
serving on the Nebraska Red Cross Board of
Directors. We are also helping our new members
be successful in college with events such as
resume workshops and leadership conferences.
For intramurals, our basketball "A" team is off
to a competitive start, and we like our chances of
taking home the gold.
During the fall semester, we hosted our 55th
annual ATW softball philanthropy. In addition,
we donated $800 of Christmas gifts to families
in need in Omaha. For the spring semester, we
look forward to seeing a great turnout from our
alumni at Tau Tee Off in April.
We had great attendance for our capital campaign
announcement this past fall. At this event, the
plans for the new renovation were unveiled. It
is always a great time hearing alumni reminisce
about their time as undergraduates. We really
appreciate all the alumni support we have been
receiving over the years. Nationals has always
complemented the strength and involvement of
our alumni. The ATW house is always open to
our alumni, and we hope that you will stop by.
Love and Respect,
