Here in Fayetteville, we have a handful of female entrepre- neurs with storefronts (and websites) beckoning to help the loveliest of brides and bridesmaids to get ready for their big day. I sat down with these remarkable women and learned about the business of brides. Four women in town didn't follow in their mother's footsteps, but they followed in their fathers. Meet these true "daddy's girls," who are now helping run the companies their fathers put into place. And Trending Teri is back again for e Buzz. is go-round, our resi- dent fashionista has curated looks for a beachside wedding to a black tie gala featuring fab garments from local boutiques. Let's give Teri some props too. Aer launching her Instagram and Facebook-based blog, she has attended New York Fashion Week to see the runway show of trendy girl favorite, Alice + Olivia. I feel like just yesterday she and I were at Cof- fee Scene figuring out what hashtags she should use. And that's what being a woman in business is all about. It's about go- ing for your goals, whether it's to be a top blogger, big in the bridal in- dustry or at the head of the board room…it's about making your dreams, your prayers, your goals a reality and never giving up. Go forward and make your dreams come true.- Ralph Waldo Emerson facebook.com/cityviewnc Business & Bridal Here I am on my wedding day in 2010...throwing the "shaka" and paying homage to my three years living in Hawaii.
