Covenant Lutheran Church joined hearts and hands with volunteers from Food Bank and Isaiah 58 Proj- ect. Concerned Rainbow Acres residents meet with officials Tuesday, Oct. 25th, Rainbow Acres met at Gene and Maggie Ross' home to dis- cuss the condition of Dome Rock Rd. Attending were La Paz Co Supervisor Holly Irwin, Quartzsite Mayor Jose Lizarraga, Kool Kovers owner Steve Ben- nett, & County Assessor, George Nault. Bennett explained complicated history of the road. The road has been in disrepair for many years and Quartzsite of- ficials have been in negotiations with La Paz County officials about fixing the problem. Council also voted to close the road if not fixed by Dec. 1st. (Closed does not mean barracade, but posting signs stating, "Primitive Road, proceed at your own risk". Ru- mors spread fast in Rainbow Acres with threats of closing their main ac- cess, so residents gathered to hear the facts.
