Who says cooking Thanksgiving dinner has to mean starting days in advance? With this how-to guide, you can have the Su- per Bowl of meals on the table and ready to wow your guests in eight easy steps and in less time than it takes to wash and dry a load of clothes. We promise. Clean-up is a breeze because most of the meal is made in just one pan. Better yet, the crystallized ginger gives the cranberries a spicy-sweet kick and the nutty stuffing is studded with bits of prosciutto. Yum!
STEP ONE Start the cranberries Adjust your oven rack heights to ac- commodate a turkey and preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Finely chop the ginger and combine it with the cranber- ries then place the cranberry mixture on 2 layers of aluminum foil. Fold the foil inward and crimp the edges up to make a sealed packet. Wrap the packet with 2 additional pieces of foil, then place it directly on the oven rack. Let it cook for 30 minutes.
