Beck '54 entered Mystic Circle December 10, 2013, after a battle with lung cancer. He was a captain in the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean War, and received a Juris Doctor from Cumberland Law School. He worked at Wiggins and Childs as a partner in Birmingham, Ala. Augustus is survived by his wife, Lucinda. ALUMNI NEWS Marion H. Lyons Jr. '59 shares that after 54 years of getting up and going to work, retirement is fantastic. "Y'all have a great year!" Marion lives in Mobile, Ala., with his wife, Carolyn. E-mail: marionlyons4302@ comcast.net J. David Brady Jr. '80 retired from the U.S. Army reserves with 30 years of service at the rank of Colonel. He deployed to South Asia for Desert Shield/Desert Storm. David was recently named managing partner of Anders Boyett & Brady, P.C. Keith Lichtman '98 is the managing partner of the Mills Paskert Divers Atlanta office. He specializes in construction, security, fidelity law, and litigation. He recently climbed Mount Denali, his fifth of seven summits. Charlie L. Dennis '09 graduated from the Cumberland School of Law with Juris Doctor in May 2013, and was admitted into the Alabama Bar Association in September of that year.
