Our 2015 Opening Ceremony was on Sunday January 18th and we will offi cially end with closing ceremony directly following our "Last Hoorah Cookout on the Coals" on the afternoon of January 24th. If you're not an amateur radio operator yet, or if you want to upgrade your license to a higher class, you'll be able to take your exam's right there at Quartzfest* and have your call sign or upgrade from the FCC by weeks end. We'll be holding licensing exams during the week so plan ahead to be at Quartzfest early. If you have questions about what Amateur Radio is or what its capabilities are, drop in every day during social hour 3-5pm. The famous yard sale will be held Saturday, Jan. 24th starting at 6:30am. If you've never attended Quartzfest*...you've missed out on a HAM Experience of a lifetime.
