Sincerely, Pastor Mike and Linda Hobby, QUARTZSITE GOOD SAMARITAN We would like to thank the Good Samaritan that stopped to help us with our fl at tire. It was Monday, Decem- ber 22 about 8:00 pm just a few miles north of Quartzsite on Hwy 95. We were returning to our RVs from Parker and had a fl at tire. It was dark, we had no fl ashlight, in fact we were not sure if we had a spare tire or a jack and if we did, where were they? Needless to say we were pretty frustrated. In the midst of our confusion a white pickup turned around and asked if we needed any help. We said, "We'll be ok." But obvi- ously the driver could see we were not alright. He pulled in behind us with his headlights providing light on the fl at. Then once we located the spare and jack, he did all the work. His wife was in the truck and told us they had been in Parker shopping at Wal-Mart. We thanked him profusely but he refused our offer of money twice and told us basically what goes around, comes around. We wished each other a Merry Christmas and off they drove. We want thank him for being such a kind person. It is so refreshing to cross paths with someone so gracious these days. There are kind people out there and we were lucky enough to have one help us. Thank you Good Sa- maritan! May many good things come your way this new year! I took my 7 month-old short hair cat, "Shorty" to him on Dec. 15th to be neutered and get all his shots. He got excellent care and John did a good job. Shorty is running all over the place and is happy. Dr. Madlock has been a real asset to Quartzsite area and his profession. They came the same day I contacted and fi xed it. The poor guys; it was so major cold and late BUT they did it. Now we can rest well and less pain. Very nice and caring folks. Major thanks to Rain and Starr. We, of Quartzsite, are very lucky to have them. They let us know what is hap- pening and are right on top of things.
