Our museum, at 160 East Main Street is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10am to 4pm. CANADIAN POTLUCK JAN. 17 The Annual Canadian Potluck will take place Saturday, January 17th at the Quartzsite Improvement Assoc. (QIA) 11am-3pm. Last year we had 238 people and we're going to top that this year! Each person should bring a Pot- luck dish for 8. Meat, gravy, potatoes & buns supplied. Please bring your own place settings. Veggies, salads, desserts are needed for the potluck. All Cana- dians are welcome! Please pass the word to all your Canadian friends and neighbors. There will be lots of door prizes, too! Main, Quartzsite BLM MEETING JAN. 23 7PM The BLM Management will hold a public meeting Friday January 23, 2015 at 7pm at the Alliance Church in Quartzsite, Arizona. They are in their fi nal stage of decid- ing what trails to close in the entire La Paz District. All travelers, miners, rockhounds, ohv riders are needed to attend if possible to fi nd out what they want to do and to tell them what the public really wants. All business ven- dors and town offi cers are all planning to be there as well in order to preserve the economy of this entire area. ARVEL BIRD JAN. 24 International award-winning Celtic Indian violinist Arvel Bird will perform at JR's RV Park in Quartzsite on Sat- urday January 24th, 2015 from 7pm to 9pm. Tickets are $5 per person. All are welcome. This is a fantastic chance to see this Nashville recording artist right here in town.
