Not a licensed contractor Quartzsite Business Licensed By Anita Carlson Quartzsite - Operation Hero Comfort had our annual Fund Raiser – Silent Auction on Sat 12/13. It was a huge suc- cess. We had a great turn out and peo- ple were able to get wonderful bargains. We had more donations this year and therefore we raised more money than previous years. We would like to thank everyone who attended and supported our efforts. Thrivent gave us a $250 gift card that we used at Dollar General to purchase items to send to the troops. There have been many times this year when our shelves have been close to empty. We have needed to purchase items to send to the troops. Each pack- age we send is $15.90 for postage, we have 5 units and we send 2 packages every other week. We would also like to thank all of the individual people, businesses and ven- dors who donated items. When you see any of these people or walk into one of these places, please thank them for their support.
