COVENANT LUTHERAN BAKE/YARD SALE December 6, 2014 8:00 am to 1:00 PM there will be a yard sale and bake sale at Covenant Lutheran Church on Cowell Street. There will be all sorts of treasures! Craft supply items, appli- ances, tools, clothing and much, much, more. At 9am, there'll be a free show- ing of "Frozen"! There will be holiday goodies for sale by our church ladies at the bake sale. PANCAKE BREAKFAST DEC. 13 Queen of Peace Catholic Church will host their monthly Pancake Breakfast Sat., Dec. 13, 7:30 to 9:30 am. All you can eat pancakes with our signature cactus syrup. Sausage, eggs, juice, cof- fee or tea served with meal. $5/person. Join us every 2nd Saturday during the winter season. The cost for the Ham Dinner with all the fi xings and dessert is only $3. We want to invite the town to come have an evening out with dinner and a show. QUILTERS MEET TUESDAYS The Quartzsite Quilters meet every Tuesday at the Senior Center on Moon Mountain Rd. from 9am to 3pm. We have been having a good time sewing up "fi dget quilts" for the memory unit in Blythe, Calif. It's hard to make just one! In addition to all the charity proj- ects we sew, we want to remind you that we do much more than that. We meet here to share our skills, knowl- edge and friendship.
