Sigma Kappa 5 O ver the last year, Beta Sigma has continued to grow. Last spring we welcomed five new members through informal recruitment. This summer we sent two members to Las Vegas for Sigma Kappa national convention where they learned many valuable tips on how to better our chapter. BETA SIGMA WELCOMES 40 NEW MEMBERS This fall we look forward to many new exciting prospects. At the beginning of September we welcomed 40 new members and look forward to getting to know them better as they go through the new member promise program. FALL PHILANTHROPY EVENTS PLANNED Not only do we have a fantastic corn hole philanthropy planned for later this fall, but we will also participate in the Walk to End Alzheimer's. November 3-7 is our Sigma Kappa Week of Giving and we have a lot of events planned to give back to the Lafayette community. ALUMNAE INVOLVEMENT ENCOURAGED We would love alumnae to join us to initiate our newest doves on November 2 at the chapter house. Also, our Founders' Day event is planned for the following weekend, November 9. I know it's a lot to ask alumnae to come out two weekends in a row, but we would love to have as many of you as possible celebrate these exciting events at Beta Sigma. Beta Sigma looks forward to a great new school year and all the amazing opportunities that will come our way!
