avid Chung, a Fayetteville native, is a sophomore at Stanford
University. The 19-year-old has yet to decide on a college major,
but remains determined to realize his boyhood dream: to become
a professional golfer.
According to golfweek.com, as of Aug. 30 Chung is ranked 7
th
in the United States and 13
th
in the world among men's amateur
golfers.
Chung first picked up a club at age four and has been playing golf competitively
since he was seven. His interest in the game began with his father, who is an avid
golfer.
