At 1 p.m. head over to the Headquarters Library's Pate Room for a mini-symposium on the 225th anniversary of North Carolina ratifying the U.S. Constitution, which occured on Nov. 21, 1789. Also at 1 p.m., the Transportation & Local History Museum will celebrate the historic event, which took place at the site of the Market House.
