IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY PAGE 3 "Don't worry about it. Your debt is cleared… consider it a scholarship. Keep up the hard work." While a few hundred bucks may not seem like much to some of us, to a college kid, it can be life-changing. I went on to graduate on time, and while I'm still paying off my college loans, the most important one I ever received came with no strings attached other than a request for me to continue working hard. The next time you receive a Gamma Upsilon mailing and are considering making a donation, just remember—what may not seem like a lot of money to you could mean the world to an undergraduate who just wants to get by. Your donation could be what gets them that diploma. And while you may never give it another thought, it could be something that sticks with them the rest of their life.
