Churches today portray Christian music in vary- ing styles all around the world includ- ing traditional, classical, gospel, praise and worship, rock n' roll, jazz and alter- native. In my opinion, one style of mu- sic is not the way to worship. Learning to worship the various styles of music can add tremendously to your religious experience. However, finding a church that uses the music that speaks to you more readily is important, but in mak- ing that choice do not forget to consider the needs of the younger members of your family. ere are many types of churches in the Cumberland County area that offer not only traditional services, but there are also a few that have more "contem- porary" worship opportunities that ca- ter more to the youth or those young at heart. erefore, you can find one church for the whole family. Other things you may want to con- sider are churches with a strong mili- tary community, bible studies for sin- gles or a strong children's ministry. Find your niche! Don't focus on finding the perfect church, but rather focus on becom- ing the best Christian you can possibly be.
