We can now layer and pull out our rid- ing boots, our flannel and our blazers while topping it all off with a statement necklace…anything that can make the fall and win- ter a little more glamor- ous. Plenty of gentlemen I know feel the same way… but probably without the statement necklace. Maybe. In this issue, we premiere our quarterly fashion "buzz," #trendingteri, brought to you by Fayetteville's own tastemaker, Teri Pantelakos. Teri has a strong background in fashion mer- chandising and styling and we enjoy bringing her carefully curated style selec- tions made possible by local boutiques and shops to our pages! She highlights trends for men and women that will make your holiday party attire a little more glam. When I think about fashion, I immediatly think about shopping and the biggest day to hit the stores comes to mind...Black Friday. I have braved this day a few times, always opting to go at it alone so I can really stay focused and get my head in the game! A local girl by way of Phoenix, Arizona, Brianna Maga- na, spends her Black Friday in more of "Robin Hood" style, but not breaking any laws. Read her story and she'll remind you that it's better to give than to receive. As cliché as it may sound, it's the honest truth given any season. Remember that every day we have is a gi! Happy Hannukah, Happy Holi- days and MERRY CHRISTMAS! See you in 2015. Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you. – Luke 6:38
