Box 1296 Columbus, OH 43216 Address Service Requested Beta Nu Announces First and Finest Since 1888 Campaign (Continued from page 1) THE COMMITMENT OF OUR ALUMNAE Although construction is underway, we still need the support of all our Beta Nu sisters in order for this project to realize its full potential. While we were lucky to find a loan to cover most of the basic construction costs, there is still furniture and decor to be purchased, additional construction costs related to cosmetic upgrades and amenity offerings, and soft costs. Thank you to all who have provided early financial gifts to help bring these plans to reality. Thus far, $1,144,012 has been committed to the First and Finest Since 1888 campaign. This is a marvelous start, but we need your help to reach the $1.75 million campaign goal if we hope to complete our entire plan within the next two years as envisioned. YOUR PART IN THE PLAN In the coming weeks, you will receive more information detailing the project, campaign and how YOU can make a difference. We would be honored to add your name to the growing list of campaign donors on page 2. With your help, we will ensure that the Beta Nu legacy you have been a part of since your undergraduate days lives on for many years to come. Thanks everyone for your hard work! SUPPORTING PHILANTHROPY Philanthropic efforts are always held to a high standard within our chapter. Peyton Patrick, Philanthropy Chairman, leads our chapter in encouraging everyone to participate in other Greek-related philanthropies. The Beta Nu Chapter is active in supporting Kappa Kidney Camp through an event called Kappa Dog Day. This year the event took place on the 18th of October at the house before the football game. RECRUITMENT SUCCESS Our Membership Chairman, Anna Prescott, and the rest of the recruitment team have been hard at work in preparation for Formal Recruitment this January. Our members continue to meet potential new members on campus, in classes and through their various organizations. We feel very confident we will have a successful recruitment again this year, and we cannot wait to meet the wonderful women that will make up our new member class of 2015! WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT Moving in to the house in August, was so exiting. Everything feels so clean and bright yet it still feels like the house you may remember. The Beta Nu Chapter started the school year on a strong note and plans to continue this momentum as 2014 comes to an end and 2015 begins. We all thank our alumnae for your continued support. Our success would not be possible without the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation and we are very grateful. Enjoy this fall season and if you happen to travel down memory lane and find yourself on 15th, we would love for you to stop and see our Dream Palace of Kappa Kappa Gamma.
